HALO Rigid Insulation
Advanced rigid insulation for below-ground, interior and exterior above-grade applications — Subterra, Interra and Exterra.
HALO panels share a high performance Neopor core and are chosen by where they sit in the assembly. Subterra is the below-ground, water-resistant panel for foundation walls. Interra is the interior panel — above-slab floors, radiant floors and the interior surfaces of walls and ceilings. Exterra is the exterior, mold-resistant insulating sheathing for above-grade walls.
Used together with an ICF or framed structure, they close the gaps where most heat actually leaves a building: the slab edge, the foundation wall and the framing members themselves.
- High performance Neopor core, laminated both sides
- Interra reflects radiant energy back into the home and acts as an interior vapour barrier
- Exterra is mold-resistant and, when factory perforated up to 2″, needs no additional house wrap
- Subterra is water resistant for below-ground service, with a zero thermal drift guarantee
- Durable and easy to handle on site
- Supports Net Zero and Passive House detailing
